This track was Schultz’s first original song, written nearly 10 years before all of the other tracks on the record. Intensely emotional lyrics detail the bittersweet recognition that our expectations of love will always portray reality in a more rose-colored light than the way things are. While this fooling-oneself is required to fall in love, it is this very delusion that makes it so painful to fall out of love.
